Here is an overview of stand-up paddle skill levels:

• Level 1 – Beginner: Newbies start out by learning the basics on shore: body form, positioning, standing up, and paddling techniques. Once on the water, you’ll work on balance – starting on your knees and then standing up – and turns as you glide through the gentle waters.

• Level 2 – Intermediate: Once you can comfortably paddle on your own, we’ll help you pick up speed and catch your first wave. Intermediate riders are ready for more challenging conditions – meaning more excitement out on the water.

The past few years, SUP has exploded in popularity – and we know why. Paddleboarding is a fun way to explore the ocean, as you glide through the water at your own speed. The great thing about SUP is that it is quick to learn, and you can make it as easy or challenging as you like. Even Sammy’s dog Kimo loves cruising on the board!
