Cancellation Policy

By completing your booking, you agree to the following terms:

Day Tours – No Aircraft Involved

• 48+ Hours Before Departure: Refund minus a 10% admin fee (90% refund).
• Less than 48 Hours: No refund, full payment is forfeited.
• No-Shows: Full payment is required.
• Weather Cancellations by KBA: Full refund (100%). Rescheduling may be offered, subject to availability.

Day Tours – Includes Aircraft Travel

• 30+ Days Before Departure: Refund minus a 10% admin fee (90% refund).
• Less than 30 Days Before Departure: No refund, full payment is forfeited.
• No-Shows: Full payment is required.
• Weather Cancellations by KBA: Full refund (100%). Rescheduling may be offered, subject to availability.

Multi-Day Tours and Expeditions

• 60+ Days Before Start: Refund of deposit minus a 10% admin fee, or credit valid for one year.
• 60-45 Days Before Start: Payments forfeited, or 50% held as credit for one year.
• Less than 45 Days Before Departure: No refund, full payment is forfeited.
• No-Shows: Full payment is required.
• Weather Cancellations by KBA: Refund minus a 10% admin fee. Rescheduling may be offered, subject to availability.

Custom Tours and Tailored Bookings

• All sales are final. Changes or cancellations are not permitted.

Refunds exclude online booking fees, if applicable.

When Booked Through Another Agency

If you booked your tour through a third-party agency, their cancellation policy applies. You must cancel or reschedule directly with the agency you booked through. Do not contact Kenai Backcountry Adventures for cancellations or rescheduling made through other agencies.

Highly Recommended: Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance to protect your trip investment.
