This trip is a longtime customer favorite thanks to its balance of approachable rapids, beautiful scenery, and just the right amount of thrill.

From the moment you push off, you’ll be immersed in an engaging stretch of Class II–III whitewater that’s ideal for paddlers of all experience levels. Everyone gets a paddle and works together as a team to navigate fun and memorable rapids like The Slot, Z-Drop, Pinball, and the ever-popular Fishtail. The highlight of the run is Hell’s Hole—a thrilling rapid that makes for some of the best action shots on the river. At the end of your adventure, you’ll have a chance to view and purchase professional photos of your crew charging through this notorious rapid!

Looking to up the challenge? For adventurous guests, we offer the option to paddle an inflatable kayak (aka “ducky”) for a more independent and exciting ride through the rapids.

Along the way, you’ll enjoy crystal-clear waters, warm sunshine, and sweeping views of the surrounding mountains and forested canyon. It’s a perfect way to spend a few hours in nature, whether you’re making family memories, sharing laughs with friends, or just looking to cool off and get your heart pumping.

What to Bring / Wear

To stay comfortable and safe on the river, here’s what we recommend bringing:

1. Swimsuit or Swim Trunks – Quick-drying and non-cotton materials like nylon or polypropylene work best.
   
2. Light, Breathable Clothing – Wear moisture-wicking layers (NO jeans or heavy cotton).
   
3. Hat or Visor – A low-profile hat that fits under a helmet is ideal (avoid wide-brimmed styles).
   
4. Sunglasses – Bring inexpensive or secure sunglasses (think gas station shades) and add a strap to keep them in place.
   
5. Secure Footwear – Wear water shoes or sandals that strap to your feet. No flip flops—you’ll need something that stays on in the water.
