Duration of Adventure
- Half Day Option is 4 hours - 9:00 am to 1:00 pm
- Full Day Option is 8 hours - 9:00 am to 5:00 pm
Location / Where to Meet
- You will meet your tour guide in Parque Nacional Julio Enrique Monagas in Bayamon.
Ages & Requirements
- Minimum age of 10 years old for the half day tour.
- Minimum age of 12 years old for the full day tour.
- Maximum weight is 220 lbs (100 kg), which needs to be relative to the participant's height.
- It is very important that all participants be in good physical condition due to the nature of the activities that take place during the adventure. Participants should not have any physical or medical conditions that may hinder their performance during the adventure.
- Pregnant women are not advised to participate due to the high level of risk involved during the tours.
- Rocaliza reserves the right to cancel or limit your participation based on your physical condition. If this happens at the last minute due to an undisclosed medical or physical condition you will be responsible to pay the full amount of your trip.
- Participants under the influence of drugs or alcohol will not be permitted to partake on any of the activities.

What to Bring / Wear
- Athletic or Climbing Clothing - Lightweight, fast drying, and comfortable to move in.
- Closed Toed Shoes with Heel Support (hiking sandals are great too as long as they are closed toed).
- Personal Gear (optional and subject to inspection)
- Lunch, Snacks, & Beverages
- Rain Protection, Dry Bags, Towels
- Sun Protection (Hats, Sunscreen, etc.) & Insect Repellent.
- Required Paperwork & ID Cards- Signed medical form if required, waivers, license, etc.
- Please remove any jewelry, watches, or anything that can get damaged / caught on the equipment, or items you don’t want to lose.

Do you have any restrictions?
Pregnant women are not advised to partake in our tours, due to the high level of risk involved in them. Rocaliza guides can and will determine if a participant is not fit to partake in the adventure. Participants under the influence of drugs or alcohol will not be permitted to partake on any of the activities.
What happens if there is bad weather?
Rocaliza reserves the right to cancel any tour due to adverse weather conditions at any time. If this happens you will not be charged.
What shoes should we wear?
The best options are hiking sandals, such as Keens, that provide support on the heels and protect your toes. If you do not have these or similar sandals we recommend water shoes or sneakers. Flip flops are not accepted during the tour.
What is the best time of year to go rock climbing in Puerto Rico?
The best time is typically from December to April, during the dry season, which offers pleasant weather for climbing. Avoid the rainy season from May to November.
Is it safe to climb in Puerto Rico?
As long as you follow safety guidelines and use proper equipment, rock climbing in Puerto Rico is generally safe. It's also essential to climb with an experienced guide if you're unfamiliar with the area.

Cancellation Policy
Rocaliza requires 24 hours notice, prior to scheduled departure time, to cancel your reservation or to reduce the number of participants in your group. Cancellations with more than 24 hours notice will not be charged. Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice will be charged the full amount. Groups of 6 or more participants are required to cancel with at least 48 hours notice. No-shows will be considered late cancellations and will be charged the full price. Customers will receive a refund in case of operator cancellation due to inclement weather or other unforeseen circumstances, such as low participation (minimum group size is 4).
