Learn to E-Foil in San Juan, Puerto Rico

Ready to fly above the water like you’re riding a magic carpet? Join us in San Juan for an unforgettable E-Foiling Experience.

In this private one-hour lesson, you’ll learn the basics of riding an electric hydrofoil (E-Foil), a cutting-edge board that lifts above the water using a powered foil. It’s an incredible feeling — smooth, silent, and addictively fun. The reason we've listed an non-human powered adventure is to help you get into foiling, if you’re thinking about learning to kiteboard or wing foil, E-Foiling is an awesome way to build your foil skills safely before adding a kite or wing into the mix.

During the session, you’ll spend 15–20 minutes on land covering equipment safety and handling, followed by a full hour on the water practicing with a private instructor. We use radio helmets to keep real-time communication flowing while you’re riding. Whether you’re adventuring with family or friends, this is the perfect introduction to foiling and flying over the water.

Difficulty: Beginner-friendly

Beginner Friendly: Yes. No experience necessary, but you must be able to swim and feel comfortable in the water.

Ages & Requirements

Participants must be strong swimmers and comfortable in open water.
E-Foiling is best suited for ages 13 and older.
All participants must be physically capable of balancing on the board and managing basic water conditions.

Please remove any jewelry, watches, or valuables that could be damaged by water or get caught on equipment.

About E-Foiling

An E-Foil is a surfboard with an electric motor and a hydrofoil underneath, allowing you to glide smoothly above the surface of the water without waves, wind, or towing. As you build balance and control, you’ll learn how to "fly" over the water at speeds up to 25 mph.

Learning to E-Foil is a great stepping stone if you plan to progress into foil surfing, kite foiling, or wing foiling. It teaches critical skills like board control, weight distribution, and foil management in a controlled environment before adding wind or waves to the mix.

Important Information

Lessons are subject to rescheduling in cases of unsafe or unfavorable weather (such as thunderstorms, gusty offshore winds, or extremely light wind conditions).
Management and instructors make safety-based decisions using current and forecasted conditions, tides, and weather patterns.

Cancellation Policy

Lesson Cancellation Policy

If you have to cancel a lesson, please do so 24 hours before your scheduled session.
If you cancel within 24 hours of your scheduled session, you will be charged 50% of your booked session as a cancelation fee.
No shows will be charged the entire cost of your scheduled session.

Lesson Refund Policy

If your session must be rescheduled due to weather conditions, your credit will be applied to your next scheduled session. If you are unable to use your session you can apply the credit toward merchandise purchases in our retail store. If you do not use the credit toward a merchandise purchase a refund of your remaining credit can be issued MINUS a 50% refund fee.

Credit from unused lessons are redeemable for up to one year from date of purchase.
