- Check in/ Departure Address: Kayak village #6, Las Croabas, 00738, Puerto Rico
- Please arrive at least 30 minutes before the starting time of your tour to find parking space.
- If you are riding with Uber or a Taxi, we suggest you make roundtrip arrangements. Most of the time these services are NOT AVAILABLE to book on the spot after the tour.
Ages & Requirements
- Minimum age to participate is 6 years old.
- Participants ages 6 to 13 must be accompanied by an adult on the same kayak.
- Participants ages 14 to 17 must have an adult participating in the tour.
- Maximum weight limit of 250 lbs (113 kg) per person (no exceptions). For safety, weight checks will be conducted before each tour. Participants exceeding the individual weight limit will not be allowed to participate, and no refunds will be issued. Please inform each person from your party.
- The following guests cannot participate: pregnant women, guests with a recent surgery, guests with neck, back, arms or leg problems or wearing a cast, guests with heart conditions, epilepsy, and/or dizziness.
- Guests who show signs of intoxication by drugs or alcohol will not be admitted on this tour.
- Eco Action Tours will not provide a refund to any customer who failed to adhere to the tour restriction above disclosed.

I’ve never kayaked before; can I still join?
This is a beginner friendly kayaking spot! The lagoon and mangrove tunnels are very calm and a great place to try kayaking for the first time.

Do we need to know how to swim for this tour?
No, swimming in Laguna Grande is prohibited by law. You will stay on the kayak during the tour. For safety, personal life vests approved by the U.S. Coast Guard will be provided.
Is bioluminescence always visible?
The bioluminescent intensity depends on weather conditions such as rain, tide, moon phase, sunlight and many other natural factors out of our control. The best time to visit is around the new moon and during the dry months, December to March with a midsummer dry season June to July.
Bioluminescence is an unpredictable natural phenomenon that can not be guaranteed since it is affected by different natural factors. Therefore, the bioluminescence intensity can vary from one day to another from very visible to none visible. Eco Action Tours is not responsible if bioluminescence is not visible. However, we guarantee that this adventurous night kayaking tour in Laguna Grande will be enjoyed by you and your family.

Cancellation Policy
- Cancellation notice must be given 48 hours before your tour check-in time in order to qualify for a refund. Cancellations notice must be made, by phone only, calling (939)290-7221 or (787)791-7509. Office hours are Monday – Saturday from 9:00am – 9:00pm.
- Guests who do not show up or arrive late for their scheduled tour will be charged in full. No refunds or rescheduling options will be provided.
- Groups of 10 or more guests must cancel 1 week in advance prior to the date of the tour in order to be eligible for a refund.
- Same-day bookings are considered final sale.
- Rebooking must be requested, by phone only, 24 hours prior your tour check-in time. A $20 per person rebooking fee will be added to every rebooking request. Fee must be paid in cash at check-in.
Please note that refunds may take up to 5-7 business days to process. Refunds will be issued back to the original form of payment.
WEATHER CANCELATIONS
- Eco Action Tours does not cancel tours due to rain. This tour goes out rain or shine. There is a likelihood of rain year-round in the tropics. If a tour has to be canceled due to bad weathers conditions or other unforeseen circumstances, Eco Action Tours will notify you as soon as possible with alternatives such as rescheduling the tour to another time or date (upon availability), or a full refund. Tour cancellation due to bad weather will be determined by Eco Action Tours. Otherwise, the cancellation, changes, and refund policy remain the same for any tours that are not called off by Eco Action Tours. The weather in the tropic can be unpredictable, therefore, cancellations notice can be made at check-in.

Tours is designed for beginners' kayakers to be able to complete the entire tour. If you have paddling difficulties, a tour guide will attempt to coach you. Leaving the tour early or being towed back to the dock do not constitute grounds for a refund.

Due to the unique nature and small size of our groups, we are forced to remain firm about our cancellation policy. Regardless of the cancellation reason, our time and fixed costs are already invested; we may even have turned down other customers by holding your space. Thank you for understanding!
