Trip Summary
This 3 day trip is for those looking for a more difficult section to paddle. Its an exciting wilderness river adventure with plenty of nice size rapids to make the trip fun. The trip includes a 5 mile stretch of river known as the James River Gorge, this section features the "Balcony Falls" rapid (Class III). Due to the remoteness and difficulty of the rapids, we carefully screen all groups before running this trip. Prior whitewater canoe experience is required. Minimum age 12 years old, 10 yrs. w/ parent or guardian. Trip must not end on a Saturday or a Sunday as the Snowden Boat landing is too crowed for our trailers during the Summer, so no trips will start on Thursdays or Fridays. Camping night 1 will be at our Arcadia Campground, Camping night 2 will be in National Forest.

Cancellation Policy
Customers will receive a full refund with 4 days advance notice of cancellation. Customers will also receive a full refund in cases where Twin River Outfitters cancels the trip due to high water levels or severe weather or other unforeseen circumstances as deemed appropriate by the Outfitter. No refunds provided with less than 4 days advance notice provided. No-shows will be charged the full price.
