A classic 3-day/2-night trip with a short paddle on the last day!
Pricing includes: Rental of boat, paddles, life jackets, safety orientation, river maps, use of dry bags, 5-gallon water jugs, access to private land for camping, and all required shuttles.
Trip Summary
This trip features two full days of paddling, and a 10:30 am take out time on the third day. Highlights of this trip include great cliff views, remote wilderness sections, blue ridge mountain views, great fishing, swimming holes, and great camping. We shuttle customers upriver 22 miles to the Eagle Rock boat landing where you will launch. Day one you paddle 13 miles to the Horseshoe Bend campground where you camp, day two you paddle 15 miles to the Arcadia campground passing our shop about midway through your day 2 paddle allowing you to resupply along the way. Day 3 you have a 4-mile paddle to the Alpine take out where we meet your group at 10:30 AM and shuttle you back to our shop usually by around 11 AM. This trip features the Eagle Rock to Horseshoe Bend section ranked by Blue Ridge Outdoor magazine as one of the best Class I sections in the mid-Atlantic states.

Cancellation Policy
Customers will receive a full refund with 4 days advance notice of cancellation. Customers will also receive a full refund in cases where Twin River Outfitters cancels the trip due to high water levels or severe weather or other unforeseen circumstances as deemed appropriate by the Outfitter. No refunds provided with less than 4 days advance notice provided. No-shows will be charged the full price.
