This two-hour kayaking tour is paced for intermediate, novice and younger paddlers alike. It is an easy-moving trip will take you through the maze of tidal creeks that wrap around uninhabited hammock islands. An experienced local guide will lead you and the group through these beautiful coastal waterways, taking time to talk about the natural surroundings. Marsh tours provide the chance to see Atlantic Bottlenose Dolphin, Loggerhead Sea Turtles, American Wood Storks, oysters, local waterfowl and other wildlife.

Is there transportation available?
Transportation to our location is not provided. Rental cars and Uber are the recommended options. It’s advisable to schedule your drop-off and pickup in advance.

Dolphins are residents of the Charleston area and can be observed 24/7, 365 days a year. However, you’re more likely to witness strand feeding behavior during low tide.
Do I need previous experience?
No prior experience is necessary. We frequently take out first-timers and provide thorough instructions before you embark on paddleboarding and kayaking adventures. Our goal is to ensure you feel confident and have an enjoyable time on the water.
Do I need to know how to swim?
No, you don't need to know how to swim. It’s mandatory by law for kayaking or paddleboarding with us to wear a personal flotation device. We provide personal flotation devices on all our boats for your safety.
Can I bring food or drinks on the tours?
Yes, you’re welcome to bring items with you, but we kindly ask that you avoid bringing anything in single-use glass bottles and be mindful not to litter. Thank you for helping us keep our environment clean and beautiful!

What happens if you need to cancel due to weather?
All marine activities are subject to water conditions. We strive to contact groups 24-48 hours in advance if we have serious weather concerns. Tours operate rain or shine as long as conditions are safe. Remember, you can cancel or reschedule outside of 24 hours with no penalty. If you don’t hear from us in advance, please dress for the weather and arrive on time. Weather decisions are typically made at departure and discussed at check-in. We provide free ponchos if rain is likely.
If we cancel a tour due to unsafe weather conditions, you will not be charged, or will receive a full refund if prepaid. You can reschedule for the next available slot. Our staff makes the final call on weather conditions. Remember, passing rain showers are normal in our area, and general forecasts often apply more to land areas. We constantly monitor weather reports and radar. Folly Beach’s weather can differ greatly from where you are.
